Sleepover

The boys' first sleepover, with our neighbor Ajani.

Flag football

Ellis and Cate chase bubbles on the sidelines while Jack plays football. The action shot is right after he snapped the ball to his coach/quarterback. Jack plays center a lot.

Flag Football

We love the near south junior flag football league. Jack is on the Red Storm this year. Wearing red on gameday feels very wrong!

Butternut Park

Some pics of the kids playing at one of our favorite Chicago playgrounds. They were all riding the little baby scooters down the ramp like maniacs.

Cate likes to dance

We had fun going to a concert for kids at the zoo this morning. Cate was sitting in my lap when she wasn't dancing, so that made for an awkward video angle. Still, look at her go!

Last day of first grade

Today was Jack's last day of the first grade! Here are some pictures taken outside of his classroom when we picked him up today.

Rose bush

This is the rose bush in my garden - it went nuts with the hot weather this week.

Adler Planetarium

We had a fun outing to the Adler Planetarium with some of our playgroup friends this morning. Here the kids are playing on the surface of the sun.

Rites of May

Hard to believe this is our fourth year attending Rites of May, the big spring festival at Jack's school. The boys had a blast as always.

Easter

Decorating eggs:

Some people would rather play outside (in the first half-nice day we've had in weeks) than fool around with eggs.

Easter morning - eggs, candy, and presents.

Dressed up for church. Too much candy had already gone in to have any hope of getting a picture of all three kids together.
